A few things about billing.
When does my trial start?
The two-week trial starts the moment you sign up. No payment method needed. Three days before it ends we’ll email a reminder. If you don’t add a card, we quietly pause your account — nothing is deleted.
When am I billed?
At the end of your trial, then on the same day each month. All amounts in USD. Your card statement will read “EMHNJ d/b/a IntakeFlow.”
What if a payment fails?
We retry for 7 days and email you. After that we pause email processing until you update the card. Your data is preserved — nothing is deleted during a pause.
What’s the refund policy?
We don’t prorate partial months, but we’ll always refund a double charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, or a sustained outage longer than 24 hours. Email billing@emhnj.com within 30 days and we’ll take care of it.
Can I switch plans?
Any time, in Settings. Upgrades prorate; downgrades take effect at the start of the next month.
Do you charge sales tax?
Only where the law requires (NY, TX, WA, PA, MA, CT and a few others). Stripe Tax figures out the right amount; most therapists see no tax line at all.
